FOR THE NORTH ATLANTIC...CARIBBEAN SEA AND THE GULF OF MEXICO...

AN ELONGATED AREA OF LOW PRESSURE LOCATED OVER THE NORTHWESTERN 
CARIBBEAN SEA CONTINUES PRODUCING DISORGANIZED SHOWER AND 
THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY. UPPER-LEVEL WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO REMAIN 
UNFAVORABLE FOR DEVELOPMENT OF THIS SYSTEM...AND THERE IS A LOW 
CHANCE...10 PERCENT...OF THIS SYSTEM BECOMING A TROPICAL CYCLONE 
DURING THE NEXT 48 HOURS. REGARDLESS OF DEVELOPMENT...HEAVY 
RAINS COULD CAUSE FLASH FLOODS AND MUD SLIDES OVER PORTIONS OF 
HAITI...THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC...JAMAICA...AND CUBA AS THE 
SYSTEM MOVES SLOWLY NORTHWARD OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS.

ELSEWHERE...TROPICAL CYCLONE FORMATION IS NOT EXPECTED DURING THE
NEXT 48 HOURS.
