FOR THE NORTH ATLANTIC...CARIBBEAN SEA AND THE GULF OF MEXICO...

THE REMNANTS OF ARLENE CONTINUE TO PRODUCE A LARGE AREA OF SHOWERS
AND THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS PORTIONS OF CENTRAL AND NORTHEASTERN
MEXICO. ADDITIONAL RAINFALL IS POSSIBLE OVER THESE AREAS DURING
THE NEXT DAY OR TWO...WHICH COULD CAUSE LIFE-THREATENING FLASH
FLOODS AND MUD SLIDES ESPECIALLY OVER MOUNTAINOUS TERRAIN. THERE
IS A LOW CHANCE...NEAR 0 PERCENT...OF TROPICAL CYCLONE FORMATION
ASSOCIATED WITH THIS SYSTEM OVER THE GULF OF MEXICO OR INLAND OVER
MEXICO DURING THE NEXT 48 HOURS. FOR INFORMATION ON THE CHANCE FOR
DEVELOPMENT OVER THE EASTERN PACIFIC OCEAN...PLEASE REFER TO THE
EASTERN NORTH PACIFIC TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK.

ELSEWHERE...TROPICAL CYCLONE FORMATION IS NOT EXPECTED DURING THE
NEXT 48 HOURS.
